Continuing Education

TRA trains mental health professionals to improve treatment of adults for childhood trauma.

  • TRA offers certified continuing education hours and a home study program nationwide for counselors.
  • Social workers in Michigan (or states that recognize Michigan’s continuing education hours) are also eligible to earn continuing education hours. Continuing education hours may be earned at TRA workshops.

Continuing Education applies to —

  • · Counselors — approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors (ACEP)
  • · Social workers — approved by the Michigan Continuing Education Collaborative (MICEC)
  • · Other licensers such as marriage and family therapists, addictions counselors, and nurses, often accept the continuing education hours approved by one of the above organizations.
Nbcc

Trauma Recovery Associates has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6746. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.
